YOU NEED NEBRA!
Your most cost-effective investment in biosolids/residuals information, education, and networking.
NEBRA NEEDS YOU!
As part of the cooperative effort, you will help ensure
a long-term, cost efficient, stable environment for biosolids recycling!

BIOSOLIDS:
A NATURAL RESOURCE
NEBRA:
YOUR RESOURCE
"With your leadership, New England is making giant steps toward public acceptance."
--Dr. Peter Machno, National Biosolids Partnership
"NEBRA is doing things that help all who are involved in biosolids. NEBRA has supported important research regarding pressing needs and has offered public programs in Maine, Massachusetts,
New Hampshire, and Vermont. What makes NEBRA possible is its membership--people participating and pooling resources. This is an efficient and productive organization."
--Charley Hanson, farmer and manager of biosolids recycling programs, central New Hampshire
"I really appreciate receiving NEBRAMail, as it keeps me up to date on many important issues I don't seem to hear about elsewhere."
--Janice Patterson, CH2MHill

Who We Are
The North East Biosolids and Residuals Association (NEBRA) is the only non-profit organization in the Northeastern U.S. and eastern Canada solely dedicated to understanding and facilitating the recycling of biosolids and other residuals. Look to NEBRA for science-based, technical information. NEBRA welcomes membership and information requests from anyone.
info@nebiosolids.org
NEBRA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in December, 1997. Its membership includes individuals and organizations from the six New England states and eastern Canada, including wastewater treatment facility staff, farmers, environmentalists, compost operators, biosolids recyclers, and others involved with biosolids and other residuals. NEBRA coordinates with other regional organizations in the field of wastewater treatment and biosolids/residuals recycling, e.g. the New England Water Environment Association www.newea.org and the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission www.neiwpcc.org. NEBRA is an active and effective participant in the National Biosolids Partnership www.biosolids.org and is recognized as the resource for biosolids/residuals information in the Northeast.
NEBRA Annual Reports detailing accomplishments, management, and finances - and NEBRA's annual IRS Form 990 filing - are available to the public; contact the NEBRA office. info@nebiosolids.org |

Our Mission
To cooperatively promote the environmentally sound recycling of biosolids and other wastewater residuals in the New England region.
NEBRA recognizes that biosolids and other residuals are resources that can and should be put to beneficial uses. Recycling biosolids and other residuals in properly regulated and carefully managed programs is a cost-effective and safe method of managing one portion of New Englands waste stream.
