Environmental Management Systems (EMS)

Some New England and eastern Canadian wastewater treatment facilities and biosolids management programs have developed - or are developing - Environmental Management Systems (EMS).  Most are based on the biosolids EMS program of the National Biosolids Partnership.  Others follow the standards set forth in ISO 14001.

NEBRA REGION EMS NEWS / UPDATES

June 24, 2010.  Greater Moncton Sewerage Commission (GMSC) Achieves Certification by the National Biosolids Partnership for its Biosolids EMS.  See local news coverage.  NEBRA sent a letter of congratulations to GMSC Chairman Ronald LeBlanc and the staff of GMSC.

March 26, 2010.  Resource Management Inc. (RMI) Celebrates EMS Certification with an Open House at its New Offices.  See National Biosolids Partnership coverage.  NEBRA Executive Director Ned Beecher attended the celebration, providing congratulations from NEBRA.
